Find out moreAbout Amanda
Amanda first qualified in 1993 and, after a short voluntary placement at the Royal Marsden and St Catherine’s Hospice, established a practice in and around Rudgwick on the West Sussex/Surrey border.
Her training has included massage therapy, aromatherapy, Reiki, crystal healing, Human Bowen and Equine Bowen. She continues to undertake professional development and has a particular passion for working with horses and other animals.
A healthy and balanced approach to life has been a long-standing motivation. Yoga, Qi gong, Alexander work and meditation have all formed part of Amanda’s own experience, alongside riding and spending time with her horse.

Amanda qualified in Equine Bowen in 2005, a natural progression from her Human Bowen work and lifelong interest in animals.
Professional associations
Amanda’s existing professional credentials include MBTPA, ECBS, IFA and CNHC. Her professional development record includes training in postural assessment, fascial work, scar tissue release, polyvagal theory and equine fascial lines.
Appointments
Clinic appointments are offered at Rudgwick Medical Centre on Wednesdays and Fridays. Home visits are also available for treatments, with Equine Bowen offered within the local area.
