INTRODUCTION

I am continually inspired to learn and build on my experience and Continual Professional Development is a requirement of the complementary therapy governing bodies I belong to: Amanda Cutler-Little Bowen Therapist

Qualifications: Massage Therapy : Clare Maxwell Hudson School; Aromatherapy: Clare Maxwell-Hudson School and International Federation of Aromatherapy  (IFA);   Reiki healing I and II; Crystal Healing with Crystal Healing Federation (CHF and BCH);  The Bowen Technique with European School of Bowen Studies (ECBS) Equine Bowen Therapy with Beth Darrell, European School of Equine Bowen Therapy (ESEBT).  Member of Bowen Therapy Professional Association (BTPA).  See my Links Page for websites of organisations.

A healthy and balanced approach to life has been my motivation for many years.  As a therapist, my understanding is that the more aware I am, the more effective I can be as a therapist.  Yoga, Qi gong, Alexander and Meditation,  are a part of my life as is riding and spending time with my beautiful horse and living with my husband in Rudgwick.

I enjoy my profession helping people and animals to enhance their well-being.  Some treatments will be for acute and maybe painful problems and other treatments may be to help on a deeper level with long standing physical or emotional problems and patterns.

After researching each training establishment I believe I have qualified with some of the best Complementary Training schools.  I first qualified in 1993 and after a short voluntary placement in the Royal Marsden and St Catherine’s Hospice I have since run a busy practice in and around Rudgwick, which is on the West Sussex/Surrey border.

My qualification in Equine Bowen in 2005 was a natural progression for me to work with horses as I am passionate about all animals and own my own horse.  My approach is  “for the good of the horse” as far is practically possible.

Amanda Cutler-Little, Bowen therapist in West Sussex. Bowen Technique, Bowen Therapy and Bowen describe the light touch therapy devised by Tom Bowen in Australia. Bowen Therapy is holistic, treating the whole patient, not just symptoms and has been reported to be effective for conditions such as low back pain, sciatica, headache, migraine, asthma, shoulder pain, neck problems, tennis elbow, golfer's elbow, RSI and other musculo-skeletal conditions. Bowen Therapy can often have a relaxing effect which may help people suffering from tension or stress syndromes.
